DESCRIPTION:AMAR SUNDY (DZ) \n\n\n\nDIA 7 DE NOVEMBRO\, Quinta-Feira\, 21H30 – FORUM BRAGA – Grande Auditório. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAMAR SUNDY sobe ao palco do Festival Nova Arcada Braga no dia 7 de Novembro no Grande Auditório do Altice Forum Braga. \n\n\n\nAMAR SUNDY é herdeiro de uma longa linhagem de nómadas tuaregues da província de Tamanrasset\, no sul da Argélia\, Amar Sundy emigrou para França ainda criança\, no início dos anos sessenta. Ainda mal tinha saído da sua adolescência estabeleceu-se em Chicago\, fez longas digressões com Albert King\, Albert Collins e Screamin’ Jay Hawkins antes de regressar à França\, onde lançou a sua própria carreira discográfica. \n\n\n\nAmar Sundy\, um saharaui oriundo do deserto do Saara do Norte da África\, sempre foi contagiado pelo desejo de viajar. As suas viagens musicais são sobre o sal\, a sede\, a noite escura e as estrelas que traçam a sua rota\, também falam de encontros humanos e da partilha à volta de uma cabaça cheia de água fresca ao fim do dia. \n\n\n\nSadaka (Sahraoui para “partilha”) é o quinto álbum de Amar. Com o blues ainda a correr-lhe nas veias\, revisita as suas raízes africanas num contexto rítmico e vocal rico\, repleto de energia e sentimento. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAMAR SUNDY takes to the stage at the Nova Arcada Braga Festival on 7 November in the Grand Auditorium of the Altice Forum Braga. \n\n\n\nAMAR SUNDY is heir to a long line of Tuareg nomads from the province of Tamanrasset in southern Algeria. Amar Sundy emigrated to France as a child in the early 1960s. Barely out of his teens\, he settled in Chicago\, toured extensively with Albert King\, Albert Collins and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins before returning to France\, where he launched his own recording career. \n\n\n\nAmar Sundy\, a Saharawi from the Sahara desert of North Africa\, has always been infected by the desire to travel. His musical journeys are about salt\, thirst\, the dark night and the stars that trace his route\, they also speak of human encounters and sharing around a gourd full of fresh water at the end of the day. \n\n\n\nSadaka (Sahraoui for “sharing”) is Amar’s fifth album.
